This policy describes how EstimateMoveCost.com handles information when you use this website.
Using the calculator
You can receive an estimate without contact details. The calculator processes your ZIP codes, moving date, inventory and access selections. ZIP codes are sent to our distance endpoint. Move details are included in the results link, so they may remain in browser history and be visible to anyone you share that link with.
Contact and partnership inquiries
If you submit a form, we store the details you provide, such as name, email, company, phone, service area and message, to review and respond to your inquiry. When email delivery is configured, inquiries are sent through our email provider to the relevant EstimateMoveCost department. We do not automatically publish submitted company details.
Hosting and abuse prevention
Our hosting infrastructure processes requests and may record operational information such as IP addresses and request logs. Form rate limiting uses a short-lived hash derived from the request IP and time window. We use validation and spam checks to protect forms.
Measurement and third parties
The site prepares interaction events, such as estimate views and mover clicks, in page memory. No external analytics collector is currently connected by this application. These events do not include form messages, names, emails or phone numbers. Links to other businesses and email or phone apps are subject to their own practices.
Access, retention and requests
Inquiry records remain stored for review and follow-up until removed. We do not currently offer automated deletion in the website. Contact help@estimatemovecost.com to request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted. We may need to verify your request.
